So I went on to the Guitar Tab Guru website today and saw that they have added a new feature! They have a section entitled the Guitar Student Resource page, which has a bunch of great links to online programs geared towards helping guitar students improve their chops!
I clicked on a few of the programs to check them out and got myself some free stuff from a blues site. (5 Free jam tracks! Woo Hoo!) Some of the programs I wouldn't even consider, but a few of them are pretty cool! I strongly advice checking it out! www.guitartabguru.com or Click here to straight to the page!
I hope you find something that helps you!
Till Then, keep on jammin!

When I started learning guitar I had many guitar heroes, but my absolute favorite was Randy Rhoads. His blazing riff work and insane solos made me want to achieve great things as a guitar player. I even began learning classical style playing so I could play just like Randy.
This actually turned out to be a very great thing for me! I found through my classical studies that the more I learned, the more I improved in all styles of guitar. I soon found myself playing faster, more intricate patterns on electric guitar, and had a better sense of melody and complex harmony. My fingers can now easily glide over the strings with ease and accuracy, and I feel more confident in my playing.
I have since moved on to other guitar heroes, some in the classical style, others in rock and heavy metal, but I will never forget the influence Randy Rhoads had on my life as a guitarist!

Hello again!
I guess I'm on a roll today, but I just started a new Squidoo page, using the article I found earlier today about the Top 5 Beginner Guitar Questions! Check it out at www.squidoo.com/top5beginnerguitarquestions!
I actually really like Squidoo, since people who have knowledge about something can easily come up with their own page, which they call a lens! I started mine, because I thought it could help someone out there who is in need of guitar help. Let's hope it does!
I also like that the article I posted referred to www.guitartabguru.com, my new favorite tab site! There is a ton of articles there, as well as some great books about guitar playing, some that I have, and some that I will be getting!
Anyway, check out my Squidoo page! Let me know what you think!

First Guitar Stuff Blog
Hey Everyone,
This is a blog about guitar stuff that I wanted to share. I have some favorite guitars and some tips that I think people could really benefit from.
The first tip I would like to give you is to check out The Guitar Tab Guru. I guess it's a relatively new tab search engine, but it seems to be pretty good! There is a lot more to do than just search tabs, like look at some cool guitars, find out about books... stuff like that.
Even better is the articles page that has, like, a ton of guitar related stuff! I actually read a few that helped me build my chops! You can get another article written by some guy they call the Guitar Tab Guru, who writes an article about using letters in tabs. It's kinda weird, but I may look into it further.
Well, that's it for the first post. I hope you come back and enjoy!
